In this episode, we share the first of our interviews from the Spartan World Media Fest, brought to you by ATP Science. The Spartan World Media Fest took place during the recent Spartan World Championships Weekend in Lake Tahoe. At this event, we had the opportunity to meet, connect with and interview some truly inspirational people from the worlds of trail running, ultra endurance running, obstacle racing and adventure racing. We start with Terry Chiplin.
Terry is runner and running coach who currently leads one of the top adult running camps in the US, where the average runner is usually over 45 years old. He claims that running saved his life in his late 20’s, and he talks about that in this interview. He is the visionary behind the positive running movement, activacuity – a guided imagery app for athletes, and positive mindset race programs, which helps runners focus on their many positives in preparation for upcoming races.
He also shares information about the upcoming US Trail Running Conference, taking place October 9-12, 2019 at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado.
